Heliyos vs Zero

Two products that both want to be the system. Zero bundles the CRM with lead data, sequences and a dialer and runs agents across it. Heliyos starts with named workers on one customer memory per account, with a review step before anything reaches a customer.

By Rajan Sharma, Cofounder and CTOUpdated

Zero is a CRM and revenue platform for scaleups that folds a lead database, multichannel sequences, a dialer and user-built agents into one record, priced per seat with credits. Heliyos is an AI-native OS where named workers keep one customer memory per account current and draft the follow-up work, with a Reviews queue on everything outbound. Choose Zero if you want outbound tooling and lead data inside the CRM and will pay per seat. Choose Heliyos if you want workers on your existing accounts, evidence attached to every review, and usage-based pricing with no seats.

What Zero does well

Zero describes itself as an "AI CRM & Revenue Platform for Scaleups" and opens with "Make CRM history". The pitch is that it replaces the CRM and the tools around it. Founded in Helsinki in 2024, it announced a $10.3M seed led by Primary in September 2026.

  • A complete record with the selling work attached. Companies, Contacts, Deals, Activities and Lists sit next to a lead database Zero says covers 350M+ contacts, with ICP fit scoring.
  • Outbound inside the CRM. Multichannel sequences across email and LinkedIn, a dialer and enrichment are, in Zero’s words, "in the plan rather than on a separate credit line".
  • Agents you build. Zero says you can "create agents with your company’s context built in". One example turns a call transcript into a deal.
  • A clear approval stance. Zero "holds anything customer facing behind an approval, by design" and summarises its model as "admin autonomous, outreach approval gated".
  • A practical integration list: two-way HubSpot sync, "Ask Zero in Slack", Stripe, Linear, PostHog, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, plus an API and an MCP server.

Where Heliyos differs

The two agree on more than most pairs in this category: one record, agents that do the admin, a person approving what reaches a customer. The differences are in what the AI is, what it remembers and how you pay.

  • Workers rather than agents you assemble. Heliyos ships Taylor, an AI account executive who handles follow-ups, proposals and scheduling, and Parker, an AI platform admin who keeps company, people and deal records current after every email and meeting. Custom workers can be added. Zero asks you to define the agents.
  • Memory. Heliyos keeps one customer memory per account, with sources attached, that every worker reads before acting and writes to after. Zero keeps a complete customer record but does not describe a shared memory agents read and write as a contract.
  • Review with evidence. In Heliyos, outbound email, deal stage changes and file sharing go through a Reviews queue with the evidence and reasoning attached. Zero gates customer-facing actions but does not describe evidence shown alongside the approval.
  • Sandboxed computer. Each Heliyos worker runs on its own sandboxed computer with only the tools its job allows. Zero agents act inside the CRM and through MCP.
  • Scope and pricing. Zero sells lead data, sequences and a dialer per seat with credits. Heliyos works your existing accounts and inbox, is usage-based with no seats, and is in closed beta.

How they handle a reply from a prospect

In Zero, the reply lands on the contact and the deal through the inbox sync. An agent can draft the response and update the record, and the draft waits for a person. Zero’s pages say "agents draft the follow-ups, and you approve anything that reaches a customer."

In Heliyos, Parker reads the thread and updates the company, people and deal records in the customer memory, attaching the message as the source. A stage change waits in Reviews with the quote that justified it. Taylor drafts the reply from the same memory and it waits in the same queue with its reasoning. Nothing reaches the prospect until a person approves it.

Setup and time to value

Zero describes setup as "connect email and calendar, import or source your first leads, and the record fills itself", and calls the approach "opinionated, days rather than weeks". It imports from HubSpot, Attio, Affinity, Pipedrive and CSV, with a 14-day trial. Defining agents, sequences and ICP criteria is where the real time goes.

Heliyos asks you to connect Gmail or Outlook, a calendar and optionally HubSpot, then add accounts to the Watchlist. The first record updates and drafts appear in Reviews. There is no agent to design because the worker jobs are fixed by default. Heliyos is in closed beta with a waitlist.

Pricing and who it fits

Zero lists one self-serve plan, Pro, at $60 per seat per month on annual billing as a launch price, then $77 after twelve months, with 500 credits per seat per month and extra packs at $60 for 1,000 credits. Scale is custom with a minimum of ten seats and adds SSO and advanced permissions.

Heliyos prices on usage with no seats. You pay for the work the workers do, not for how many people log in. That suits teams where a few people review a lot of worker output. Zero’s per-seat model suits a growing sales team that will also use its sequences, dialer and lead data.

When to choose Zero, when to choose Heliyos, when to run both

  • Choose Zero if you are a scaleup building outbound, want lead data, sequences and a dialer in the same product as the record, and like defining your own agents.
  • Choose Heliyos if you want named workers to own upkeep and follow-up, a Reviews queue with evidence on everything outbound, and usage-based pricing. It fits founders and revenue leaders at B2B teams who want to delegate without losing control.
  • Running both is uncommon because each wants to be the system. If HubSpot is your record, both have a two-way sync with it.

Our verdict

Zero is one of the more coherent products in this category. It was designed around agents, it takes approval seriously, and it bundles the outbound stack most scaleups would otherwise buy separately. If you want that bundle and will define your own agents, it is a strong choice. Heliyos is for teams that would rather not build: the workers and the memory are already there, every review shows its evidence, and you pay for work done rather than seats. Pick on whether you need outbound tooling in the record or workers on the accounts you already have.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Does Zero require approval before an agent emails a customer?
Yes. Zero says it holds anything customer facing behind an approval by design, while admin work runs autonomously. Heliyos also waits for approval on outbound email, and adds deal stage changes and file sharing to the queue, with evidence and reasoning on each item.
Does Heliyos include a lead database or sequences like Zero?
No. Zero bundles a lead database of 350M+ contacts, multichannel sequences and a dialer. Heliyos works the accounts and inbox you already have, through Gmail, Outlook, your calendars and optionally HubSpot.
Can I build my own agents in both?
Zero is built around agents you define with triggers, schedules and company context. Heliyos ships Taylor and Parker with fixed jobs and lets you add custom workers, each on its own sandboxed computer with scoped tools.
How does pricing compare?
Zero charges per seat, with Pro at $60 a month on annual billing as a launch price and $77 after the first year, plus credits. Scale is custom with a ten-seat minimum. Heliyos is usage-based with no seats and is in closed beta with a waitlist.
