Tasks: work that gets assigned to people and workers alike

Heliyos creates tasks on its own from emails, meetings and signals, then the workers complete them end to end. Write a custom task and the workers pick it up, talk among themselves to split the steps, and deliver, with every step on the card.

The Heliyos task board: tasks grouped by stage, some assigned to people and some to Taylor, one running with a sun dot.

Autonomous Tasks are how work gets created and finished in Heliyos without a person stitching it together. Parker creates one task per meeting or thread, Scouts create tasks from signals, and the right worker completes each one end to end: the email, the booking, the proposal as an artifact on the task, then a plain result. You can also write a custom task in your own words; the workers pick it up, hand steps to each other, ask each other for what they need, and deliver. Outputs that matter wait in Reviews, and every run shows its steps, the worker conversation and the evidence on the task.

Use cases

Use cases

  • A call ends with "send us the proposal by Friday"

Parker creates the task from the transcript, due Friday, assigned to Taylor. Taylor writes the proposal from your pricing sheet and drafts the cover email. You approve both.

  • "Can we move Thursday to next week?"

The task to reschedule is worked against your calendar: Taylor proposes times, holds the slot and sends the new invite after approval.

  • A one-pager for a procurement review

Taylor builds the document from your knowledge base and the account memory, files it as an artifact on the task, and it waits for your review before it is shared.

  • "Prepare the renewal for Namora", written by you

A custom task in one line. Parker pulls the usage and the people, Taylor writes the renewal brief and the email, and the two talk on the task to agree the numbers. You read the exchange and approve.

  • One task per meeting, never five

Every commitment from a call lands in a single task as a checklist, linked to the meeting, instead of scattered to-dos nobody owns.

  • You want to know what the worker did

Open the task: the run steps, the sources it used, the artifact it produced and the result it reported, in order.

How it works

How it works

  1. 01

    A task is created

By Parker after an email or meeting, by a Scout from a signal, or by a person in one click.

  2. 02

    Taylor picks it up

Triggered by the task itself. It reads the brief, the account memory and the thread, then works the steps in its own sandbox.

  3. 03

    Outputs wait for review

Emails, invites and documents go to Reviews with the reasoning. Approve, edit or reject.

  4. 04

The task closes with a report

Stage, result, open questions and what Parker should update on the account.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Can I assign a task to an AI worker like a teammate?
Yes. Taylor appears in the assignee picker beside your colleagues and works the task from its brief, due date and the account memory.
What happens if Taylor is unsure?
It reports open questions and a confidence on the task and the output waits for a person instead of going out.
Where do documents Taylor writes go?
They are artifacts on the task, versioned, and can be filed to your connected Google Drive or OneDrive after review.
Do tasks sync with my calendar and email?
Scheduling tasks act on your connected calendar; email tasks produce drafts or sends through your connected inbox, subject to review.
