Comparison
Heliyos vs Attio
Two products that both call themselves AI-native, built from different starting points. Attio began as a flexible data model and added agents. Heliyos began with workers and a customer memory and built the record around them.
By Soham Sarkar, Cofounder and CEOUpdated
Attio is a flexible, well-designed CRM with agents and workflows layered on a data model you shape yourself. Heliyos is an AI-native OS where named AI workers keep one memory per account current and draft the follow-up work, with a Reviews queue between a worker and your customer. Choose Attio if you want to own the schema, build your own workflows and pay per seat. Choose Heliyos if you want the record to update itself after every email and meeting, a review step on everything outbound, and usage-based pricing with no seats.
What Attio does well
Attio calls itself "the CRM for agentic revenue" and says it "builds pipeline, advances deals, and grows accounts around the clock". The product has earned a strong reputation on a few specific things.
- A flexible data model. Objects, attributes, lists and views can be shaped to fit a business rather than the other way round. Attio describes the CRM building "itself around" your business once you connect inbox and calendar.
- Workflows with AI steps. The homepage example is trigger-based: a record is created, enriched, scored by AI, routed with an if/else step and enrolled in a sequence. Attio says you can create a workflow by describing it in plain language.
- Agents inside the record. Custom Agents and a Web Agent score leads, research the web, enrich records and draft outreach for approval. Attio calls the shared layer they read "Universal Context".
- Call Intelligence that "records, transcribes, and logs every call as you speak" and tracks action items during the call.
- A developer surface: SDK, API and MCP with user-scoped OAuth, and a long integration list including Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Notion, Linear, Stripe, Apollo, Clay and Zapier.
Where Heliyos differs
The two products reach for the same outcome, a record that keeps itself current, but they get there differently.
- Memory. Heliyos keeps one customer memory per account that every worker reads before acting and writes to after. Attio has a flexible record plus Universal Context for its agents; the structure is yours to define, which is powerful and also a setup cost.
- Workers. Heliyos ships two default workers: Taylor, an AI account executive who handles follow-ups, proposals and scheduling, and Parker, an AI platform admin who keeps company, people and deal records current after every email and meeting. Custom workers can be added. Attio offers Custom Agents and a Web Agent that you configure for specific jobs.
- Review. In Heliyos, outbound email, deal stage changes and file sharing go through a Reviews queue with the evidence and reasoning attached. Attio mentions agents drafting outreach for approval, but its public pages do not describe a review surface with evidence.
- Sandboxed computer. Heliyos workers run on their own sandboxed computer with only the tools their job allows. Attio agents act inside the CRM and through workflow steps.
- Pricing. Heliyos is usage-based with no seats. Attio prices per user, with workspace and seat credits for AI and workflows.
How they handle keeping the record current after a meeting
In Attio, Call Intelligence records and transcribes the call, flags signals during it and drafts next steps. Attio’s pages say it "logs itself". Whether a deal stage or a custom attribute changes depends on the workflows and agents you have built for that object.
In Heliyos, Parker reads the meeting transcript and the thread around it, updates the company, people and deal records in the customer memory, and attaches the source. A deal stage change waits in Reviews with the quote that justified it. Taylor drafts the follow-up from the same memory and it waits in the same queue. Nothing reaches the customer until a person approves it.
Setup and time to value
Attio gets you to a working CRM quickly by syncing inbox and calendar. Shaping the data model, writing workflows and configuring agents is where the real time goes, and it pays off for a team with an operations owner.
Heliyos asks you to connect Gmail or Outlook, a calendar and optionally HubSpot, then add accounts to the Watchlist. The first record updates and drafts appear in Reviews. There is no schema to design because the memory shape and worker jobs are fixed by default. Heliyos is in closed beta with a waitlist.
Pricing and who it fits
Attio lists a Free plan for up to three seats, Plus at $35 per user per month billed annually ($44 monthly), Pro at $79 per user per month billed annually ($99 monthly) and a custom Enterprise plan. AI and workflow usage draws on two pools of credits: seat credits per user and workspace credits shared across the workspace, with add-on packs from $70 a month on annual billing.
Heliyos prices on usage with no seats. You pay for the work the workers do, not for how many people log in. That suits teams where a handful of people review a lot of worker output. Attio’s per-seat model suits teams where many people actively edit the record.
When to choose Attio, when to choose Heliyos, when to run both
- Choose Attio if you want to design your own objects and views, build workflows yourself, need a mature API and MCP surface today, and are comfortable with per-seat pricing.
- Choose Heliyos if you want named workers to own record upkeep and follow-up, a Reviews queue with evidence on everything outbound, and usage-based pricing. It fits founders and revenue leaders at B2B teams who want to delegate without losing control.
- Running both is uncommon because each wants to be the system of record. If Attio is your record, Heliyos is a better fit alongside HubSpot, where it has a two-way sync, than alongside Attio today.

Our verdict
Attio is one of the best flexible CRMs available and takes the agent direction seriously. If your team enjoys building its own model and workflows, it rewards that effort. Heliyos is for teams that would rather not build: the memory shape and the worker jobs are already there, every outbound action waits in Reviews, and you pay for work done rather than seats. Pick on whether you want to own the schema or hand off the upkeep.
FAQ
Questions people ask
- Is Attio an AI-native CRM?
- Attio describes itself as the CRM for agentic revenue and builds agents and workflows into its data model. It passes most reasonable tests for the term; the main difference from Heliyos is that you design the record and the agents rather than starting with default workers.
- Does Heliyos have a flexible data model like Attio?
- No. Heliyos uses a fixed customer memory per account so that workers can read and write it reliably. Custom workers extend what gets done, not the shape of the record.
- Does Attio have a review queue?
- Attio’s pages say agents can draft outreach for approval, but they do not describe a dedicated review surface with evidence and reasoning. Heliyos has a Reviews queue for outbound email, deal stage changes and file sharing.
- How does pricing compare?
- Attio charges per user, from $35 a month on annual billing, with credits for AI and workflow usage. Heliyos is usage-based with no seats and is currently in closed beta with a waitlist.
