Heliyos vs Salesforce Agentforce

Salesforce is the largest CRM and Agentforce is its platform for building and running agents on top of it. Heliyos is an AI-native OS for B2B revenue teams where workers and a customer memory come first. The question is which gets a sales team to reviewed, useful worker output sooner, and at what cost.

By Rajan Sharma, Cofounder and CTOUpdated

Agentforce is an enterprise agent platform: a low-code Agent Builder, the Atlas reasoning engine, Data 360 for external data and a set of sales agents for prospecting, engagement, pipeline management and account management, priced per user, per conversation or by Flex Credits on top of Sales Cloud. Heliyos ships default workers that keep one memory per account current and draft follow-up work, with a Reviews queue on everything outbound, on usage pricing with no seats. Choose Agentforce if you run on Salesforce and have the team to configure agents. Choose Heliyos if you want working revenue workers in days.

What Salesforce Agentforce does well

Salesforce describes Agentforce as "the AI agent platform that delivers 24/7 autonomous support at enterprise scale" and says "over 18K companies already run on Agentforce". For a company standardised on Salesforce, it brings serious capability to data that is already there.

  • Agent Builder. A low-code tool to configure agents, subagents, actions and natural-language instructions, with Flows, grounded prompts, MuleSoft connectors and custom Apex or JavaScript for deeper work. Builders can watch an agent’s plan and test its responses.
  • Atlas reasoning engine. Salesforce says it breaks a request into smaller tasks, evaluates each step and proposes a plan until the action is complete.
  • Agentforce for Sales. The sales AI page lists Prospecting, which surfaces high-intent accounts in prioritised lists; Engagement, which qualifies prospects across web, email and voice and hands them to sellers; Pipeline Management, which keeps stage and next steps current; and Account Management, which researches accounts, drafts account plans and prepares meeting briefs.
  • Review built into Pipeline Management: "Review and approve updates in suggestive mode, or update automatically".
  • Data 360, which brings in external data so agents can ground responses beyond the CRM.

Where Heliyos differs

Agentforce is a platform you build agents on. Heliyos ships the workers.

  • Memory. Heliyos keeps one customer memory per account, read by workers before acting and written after, with the source attached to every change. Agentforce agents are grounded in Salesforce CRM data and, with Data 360, external data; the record remains a Salesforce object model that administrators maintain.
  • Workers. Heliyos ships Taylor, an AI account executive for follow-ups, proposals and scheduling, and Parker, an AI platform admin who keeps company, people and deal records current after every email and meeting, plus custom workers. Agentforce offers sales agents to license and an Agent Builder for the rest.
  • Review. Heliyos has one Reviews queue for outbound email, deal stage changes and file sharing, with evidence and reasoning beside each item. Agentforce offers a suggestive mode on Pipeline Management and hands qualified prospects to sellers; review is configured per agent.
  • Sandboxed computer. Heliyos workers run on their own sandboxed computer with only the tools their job allows,. Agentforce agents act through Salesforce actions, Flows and connectors.
  • Pricing. Heliyos is usage-based with no seats. Agentforce is priced per user, per conversation or by Flex Credits on top of a Sales Cloud edition.

How they handle keeping the record current after a meeting

In Salesforce, Call Insights flags key moments, and Pipeline Management keeps fields such as stage and next steps updated. In suggestive mode the rep reviews and approves each update; in automatic mode the agent writes directly. Setting the scope of what each agent may change is admin work.

In Heliyos, Parker reads the transcript and the surrounding thread, updates company, people and deal fields in the customer memory and attaches the quote behind each change. A stage change waits in Reviews. Taylor drafts the follow-up from the same memory and it waits in the same queue.

Setup and time to value

Salesforce publishes a guide titled "How to Launch Agentforce for Sales in 30 mins or Less" and offers a 30-day Sales Cloud trial. Value depends on the state of your data, your edition, whether you have Data 360, and who owns Agent Builder. Teams without a Salesforce admin usually need a partner.

Heliyos asks you to connect Gmail or Outlook, a calendar and optionally HubSpot, then add accounts to the Watchlist. The first record updates and drafts appear in Reviews. There is no builder to learn. Heliyos is in closed beta with a waitlist.

Pricing and who it fits

Salesforce lists Sales Cloud at $25 per user per month for Starter Suite, $100 for Pro Suite, $195 for Core, $395 for Advanced and $550 for Max. The Agentforce for Sales add-on is listed from $125 per user per month and "AI can be added to Core and above". Max includes Agentforce for Sales and 2.75 million Flex Credits per org per year. On the Agentforce pricing page, Flex Credits are $500 per 100,000, conversations are $2 each and Salesforce Foundations is free with limited credits.

Heliyos prices on usage with no seats. You pay for the work the workers do. That suits a B2B team of founders, revenue leaders and a handful of reps who want the cost to follow the work. Agentforce suits an enterprise that already budgets per Salesforce user and wants agents inside that contract.

When to choose Agentforce, when to choose Heliyos, when to run both

  • Choose Agentforce if Salesforce is your system of record, you have an admin or partner to own Agent Builder, you need enterprise governance, and per-user pricing fits how you buy.
  • Choose Heliyos if you want named workers doing follow-up and record upkeep from the first week, a Reviews queue with evidence on everything outbound, and usage pricing, without a platform project.
  • Running both is possible if Salesforce stays the reporting record while a revenue pod works in Heliyos, but Heliyos does not sync with Salesforce today; its CRM sync is with HubSpot. Treat that as a manual handoff.

Our verdict

Agentforce is the right answer for an enterprise that already runs on Salesforce and can staff the configuration. Heliyos is a product: the workers, the memory and the Reviews queue are there on the first day, and the price follows usage rather than seats. For a B2B sales team that wants reviewed worker output this quarter rather than a build project, Heliyos is the shorter path.
