Heliyos vs Lindy

Lindy is a general AI teammate you teach to do work across your tools. Heliyos is an AI-native OS where sales workers already know the job. This page covers what each does well, how they differ on memory, scope and review, and when running both makes sense.

By Rajan Sharma, Cofounder and CTOUpdated

Lindy describes itself as "your AI teammate that plugs into your tools, learns how you work, and takes real work off your plate". It is a general assistant: meeting notes, inbox management, daily briefs, CRM updates and anything else you teach it, priced per user with a pool of credits. Heliyos is built for one job: running customer accounts. Named workers act on one memory per account, and outbound email, deal stage changes and file sharing wait in a Reviews queue. Choose Lindy for a flexible assistant across the team. Choose Heliyos when the work is revenue and the record matters.

What Lindy does well

Lindy is broad and quick to start. Its pages say "a sentence is all it takes" to set up a scheduled routine, and that you can show Lindy how you do something once and it is saved for the whole team. It lives where you already work: Slack threads and mentions, email and iMessage. Included on every plan are meeting recording and notes, meeting scheduling and follow-up, inbox management, drafts in your voice, daily briefs and 40 or more skills you can extend.

Two design choices stand out. Memory is transparent: "Its memory is yours to edit", stored in plain files you can open and change like a document. And approval is built in: "Nothing irreversible happens without your approval", with actions that write or send able to wait for sign-off. Lindy also lists 1,500 or more integrations, MCP support, model selection and, on Pro and above, computer use so it can drive a browser when no integration exists.

For sales, the examples on its pages are real: a closed-won handoff that updates HubSpot, creates a Notion doc, posts to Slack, schedules a kickoff and sends a welcome email; a daily deal pulse that flags a stalled deal and drafts a nudge for approval.

Where Heliyos differs

Lindy is an assistant that can be taught sales tasks. Heliyos is a system of record built around them. Every account has one customer memory: people, deals, emails, meetings, notes and files, written by workers from live sources and readable by everyone on the team. Lindy remembers how you like to work; Heliyos remembers the customer.

Workers come with roles. Taylor (AI account executive) drafts follow-ups and proposals and handles scheduling. Parker (AI platform admin) updates company, people and deal records after every email and meeting. Custom workers cover the rest. Each runs on its own sandboxed computer with only the tools its job allows.

Review is a surface with evidence. Lindy lets writes and sends wait for approval. Heliyos shows, next to each pending action, the thread, transcript or record that led to it and the worker's reasoning, so a reviewer can decide in seconds. The surfaces around it (Watchlist, Inbox, Tasks, Meetings, Notes, Knowledge, Scouts, AI research columns, Enrichment) are all views of the same memory.

How they handle a meeting that just ended

In Lindy, a "Meeting notes" routine runs after every meeting. Notes go to a shared meeting library, and you can ask about past meetings later. If you have taught it to, Lindy can update HubSpot and draft a follow-up, with the send waiting for your approval.

In Heliyos, the meeting is already attached to the account. Parker reads the transcript and updates the people and deal fields, citing the lines that justified each change. Taylor drafts the follow-up from the whole account history, not only this call. Both land in Reviews. Approve and the record and the customer are both up to date; nothing had to be taught first.

  • Lindy: flexible routine you configure, notes and actions where you work, approval on sends.
  • Heliyos: fixed roles acting on the account record, evidence beside every change, one review queue.

Setup and time to value

Lindy starts with $50 in free credits for seven days, no card required. Setup takes minutes with no API keys or IT ticket, and the value is immediate for meeting notes and inbox help. Sales-specific value grows as you teach it your process and connect your CRM.

Heliyos is in closed beta with a waitlist. You connect Gmail or Outlook and a calendar, add accounts, and the workers begin filling the Reviews queue. The first week is mostly reviewing what Parker and Taylor produce rather than configuring anything.

Pricing and who it fits

Lindy lists three per-user plans, each with a monthly credit allowance: Plus at $29.99 a month with 3,000 credits, Pro at $99.99 with 15,000 credits and Max at $199.99 with 35,000 credits. Teams draw from one shared pool, and Enterprise adds HIPAA, audit logs and dedicated support on request. It fits teams that want one AI teammate for many small jobs across the company.

Heliyos is usage-based with no seats. You pay for the work the workers do. It fits founders, revenue leaders and GTM operators at B2B teams who want the account record kept current and customer-facing work reviewed before it goes out.

When to choose Lindy, when to choose Heliyos, when to run both

A short decision guide.

  • Choose Lindy if you want a general assistant in Slack and email for meetings, briefs and routines, and sales is one use among many.
  • Choose Heliyos if your team lives in accounts, deals and follow-ups, and you want workers with defined roles acting on one customer memory under review.
  • Run both if Lindy already handles team routines and you want Heliyos as the customer record. Heliyos syncs two-way with HubSpot, so a Lindy update to HubSpot reaches the customer memory, and the Ask Heliyos chat answers questions from the account side.

Our verdict

Lindy is a well-made general assistant, and its editable memory and built-in approvals are the right instincts. If you want one AI teammate for meetings, inbox and routines across the company, it is a sensible choice. Heliyos goes deeper on a narrower problem: the customer record itself, workers with roles that keep it current, and a review queue with evidence. For a revenue team, that depth is the point. The two can share a HubSpot instance without conflict.
